Extreme Performance

Think remarkable - and then some. That's the very real difference of a Server, PC, laptop or netbook that we've configured compared to that of...we'll anyone else really. The figure you'll see we tend to bandy about it 400% faster than a standard install. That's a real safety net for us, it's always at least 400%, every time, without fail. We've had machines see 2000% speed increase - that's compared so a standard OS install of Windows from MS in comparison to our Windows discs, here's just some of the steps on how we achieve it.

For this example, we'll take Windows XP Professional - for no other reason than most of you have probably used it but our customisation's are possible across many more versions of Windows & Linux too.

When you install XP regardless of what language you choose at install time, chances are you are only going to use UK English (and not US English which seems to be on so many PCs that come into us). There are 109 languages built into XP, so getting rid of 108 of them is just the start. We then change (enormously) the way XP loads up, and what it loads up. Next we make over 160 custom registry tweaks to alter the behaviour of how XP works under the bonnet so to speak. We use advanced automated scripts that configure XP and 'tune' it according to the type of machine its installed on. There's a lot of geeky things to alter at this stage to further improver performance and when its all done we teach XP how to be a lot better at cleaning up after itself, so imagine that every time you closed your browser window or Outlook or any other program etc, momentarily Windows did a split second cleanup of all of the temporary files it had created such as the images from the web pages that you've viewed that get left behind normally.

Server Performance

This custom tuning yields not only stunning performance particularly with server operating systems, but benefits greatly to a servers reliability, moreover if you have multiple servers in your business or are planning for new servers of any type its can double its life span.
